Are You Worried about High Blood Pressure?

Kathy McClimans, our Pharmacist at Jamestown Pharmacy, has been helping her customers prevent and control health conditions for over 20 years. Specifically, she talks with many customers concerning high blood pressure medication.

According to the CDC, almost half of adults in the United States take medication for hypertension. Kathy recommends using a blood pressure kit to help monitor hypertension before it causes a need for medication.

She suggests purchasing a blood pressure monitor that is accurate and easy to use.

“A blood pressure monitor with an upper arm cuff will be more accurate, and a digital reader is best for helping to manage hypertension,” Kathy says, “If you can find one that also has irregular heartbeat detection, that is even better.”

Kathy says that Walberg Family Pharmacies offers a blood pressure monitor that is excellent for controlling hypertension.

“We carry an easy-to-use, digital blood pressure monitor provided by Health Mart. It also has irregular heartbeat detection,” says Kathy.

You can find the Health Mart Series 200 Blood Pressure Monitor in any Walberg Family Pharmacy location.
