Don’t Forget These Dorm Room Essentials!

Over-the-counter Dorm Room Essentials

Another school year has come and gone. It’s time to celebrate recent high school graduations with your kids or grandkids. And congratulations to them! And congratulations to you! Teenagers aren’t easy. Balancing school projects, driving lessons, sports, and other extracurricular activities IS NOT EASY.

Now, some of you are going to start getting those high school grads ready to head off to college. It’s a bittersweet time. Your little girl or little boy is super bright and going to college, YAY!

But then on the other hand, your baby is leaving and going to college (sigh). You have to help prepare them. Will they need a desk? A new bed set. Pens and pencils… oh yeah, probably a new laptop, too.

But what about the other dorm room essentials? The everyday items and some over-the-counter medications (OTCs)? Our Pharmacists at Walberg Family Pharmacies want to make some of the preparation a little easier for you. So, we’ve provided a list of these items to help:

☐ Band-aids                        ☐ Tissues

☐ Cotton Swabs                      ☐ Tums

☐ Ibuprofen                        ☐ Chapstick

☐ Cough Drops                      ☐ Vitamins

☐ Cold & Fever Meds               ☐ Nail Clippers

☐ Allergy Meds                      ☐ Thermometer

☐ Neosporin                         ☐ Tweezers

☐ Hand Sanitizer

Short on time? You can ask your pharmacist to gather all your items for you, so they are ready for pick up. Or, you can have the selected items delivered to your door if you have them included with your next free prescription delivery!

We ask that you call 2 days ahead for pharmacy pickup, and 3-4 weeks ahead to include these items with your next free prescription delivery.

Congrats Grads, and congrats parents and grandparents!
